Oktober startet.
Nun zur Show: Wundervoll!

Yma - To good to be true

Last night my boyfriend and I used one of the last chances to visit the show "Yma" in the Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin.
One of the last chance, because the show ist going to make room for the new show, "Show Me", which starts October, the 2nd.
The way to the Friedrichstrasse by car was very difficult and exhausting. Apart from the numerous construction sites, which apparently distributed throughout the year by only one side of the street go to the next without ever disappear, the city was hopelessly overcrowded because of the Fashion Week. The human swarms that gushed out from the underground stations calmly crossed the streets. But that's Berlin!
Now to the show: Wonderful! If you have a chance and you can still get tickets, take your chance.
In addition to singing, dancing and acrobatics, each of the four elements are represented.
The show is amazing, funny, breath holding, dreamful ...
The costumes are gorgeous (not at least because of the designer Michael Michalsky!) - I LOVED the glittering bathing caps - and the scenery is varied and leaves nothing to be desired. A funny idea is the projection of "Yma's" face, who is leading through the whole show, on a giant mask centered above the stage.
The enthusiastic audience was well mixed, what means there is something for everybody.
After the show we got soaked to the bone to the car - thanks to the apocalypse similar storm and to my forgetfulness (I've forgotten to take an umbrella with me) .
Nevertheless, or perhaps because of it, it was a beautiful and funny evening.
